Specialty Camp is a 4-day session where the boys can go back a few weeks after regular summer camp is over, spend a few days, and work on a focused program.
This year, four of our boys went; two worked on BSA Lifeguard,one on Eagle Emphasis, and one on National Youth Leadership Training. BSA Lifeguard is a nationally-recognized lifesaving program, Eagle Emphasis works intensively on several Eagle-required merit badges, finishing most or all of the requirements, and National Youth Leadership Training helps prepare boys for leadership positions within the troop.
